I'll try to put on a happy face and be positive for this blog post. I've got another 2 hours at work before I can leave and honestly, I've mentally checked out for the day.
Tonight is our company Christmas party. I'm still not sure what I'm going to wear. I'm thinking my sparkly metallic silver pencil skirt with my black boots...but I've worn that so many times. Wish I had bought something new!
I didn't get enough sleep last night and I since I was a zombie this morning, I totally took a nap in my car during lunch. I wore my big coat and parked in the sun and I was nice and toasty and warm. It was wonderful.
I had to put up the freaking Christmas tree at work today (was supposed to do it yesterday but I didn't get to it.) That thing is prickly!!! It made my hands bleed. Ouch! I got the lights on and decided I was done. I'll let some else decorate it. :)
I just heard from my long lost husband. He doesn't have to work tomorrow!!!! Thank god. We really need to clean the house and get some Christmas shopping done. Plus I just miss him - he's been working too much lately.
On Monday, they're coming out to install our granite countertop! I am soooooooo excited to get some more of this kitchen done! I've really missed cooking - especially now that we're getting close to the holidays.
